People: me fein

Duration: 3 hours

Tide: high 10

Weather: overcast, windy

Bait: frozen peeler

Rigs: 3 hook flapper, 2 hook clipped

Results: crabs

Report: the reports were good for this mark - but the settled weather with the light winds and weak tides were passing quick i knew i had to get out

got set up just down from 2 other anglers - who were at the concrete groynes/bars in the water

first time here and a nice easy spot to fish - can imagine it being so busy with the sunshine earlier in the day - nearly killed meself a few times in dug moats, sand castles and piles of stones

2nd cast forgot to flip the bale arm and lost the lot - fairly spaced and tired after a weeks work

the lads above me didnt have too much action

in front on the mac flapper the crabs were grazing like hell

no interst on my bates further out

bout 11 the lad pulled in a smoothie 3-4lb, and that was them packed up and home

used up the last of me crab at 1 and then home

no smoothie yet this year and the window is closing....
