Just lost the detailed report(I know
,,,,,,,should have taken my own advice and copy and pasted it 
) so here's the shortened version.I arrived, I set up , I met "the Legend", and Paul "Tope" Skelly. I caught a half decent smoothie,lots of small pups, a doggie, a dab, weeverfish, and whiting. It rained, it stopped briefly,,,,,,,then it rained again and didn't stop
. The tide rose and the stream came in from behind me threatening to cut me off 
Luckily my headlamp died (it has since rose Lazarus-like once it dryed out 
) and I had to pack up before my standby flickering lamp also died. I crossed swollen streams,with the help of the Legend, and got back to the van. I hit the road,,,then hit flooded roads and was stopped by Emergency Council crews and turned around. Detoured for 30 mins Apart from all that it was fine ,,,,,,,and I cant wait to do it all again next week 
Just a note of thanks to the lads who posted reports of weevers recently and put me on guard,it would be so easy to mistake them for whiting and swing them into your hand. Now I check first
I was lucky to get the smoothie as it was all pups later on. Hopefully the lads did well after I left.
