People: myself and jack01986

Duration: 8-11

Tide: just over low water

Weather: flat calm

Bait: rag, sandeel and mack

Rigs: three hook flapper

Results: dogfish, flounder, dabs, plaice, mackerel and whiting

Report:
just a quick report of a local mark i fished during the week with jack. arrived to find no anglers on the beach anything other than swimmer crabs so hopes wernt high. however the first cast i missed a good few rattles, i decided to try twitching given the condition and was soon rewarded with a few little flatties and a whiting. Also managed a few mackerel for the freezer using a pop up and hlaf snadeel. any distance over 50 yards was heaving with dogs so we both opted to stick in close and just before we left jack picked up r a nice little plaice. must have had close to twenty fish by the nights end with jack on a similar total i think, not too bad for the venue! looking forward to something a little different this week.
