Well done Sean, getting up at the crack of dawn paid off again.
May have to try it myself - I was out for a couple of hours last night over high tide, the water was indeed very clear and the northwesterly winds had flattened the surf, but the was no sign of any fish activity and all I managed was a small pollock.

Sean these early starts are paying off big time   great to see some
bass around [even if it is in waterford] :D when this jet stream moves back to where it
should be, then we might see the fishing improve :? :?

Good clarity returns west waterford 10/7

#17 Post by seanie35 »

Couldnt resist going again the morning lot more wave action. Weed and clarity was just about alright 2nd cast i caught a 1st for me, a large flounder the plug in picture is 150mm fist took it about 10 yards away from me, no bass this morning and as the tide receeded the weed came on bad so home and a few zzzzz

The plug i was using swims fairly high up in the water so surprised to get it, funnily enough i stood on a large flounder yesterday whilst wading exact same spot unlucky fish
