Bait supplier

#1 Post by Ryan »

Anyone got any info where i could get some rag etc for the easter week?

Located near Dromore, but not orignally from this area so have no idea where to go for some bait !!

Don't mind travelling a bit so long as the bait is good :D
Even around the Louth area as i'm working there at the moment.

Any info would be appreciated, need some bait to get away from her indoors!

thanks

Ryan,

you can phone and book bait with the following -

Belfast Angling Centre - York St
Tight Lines - Albertbridge Road

Angling Supplies, Larne usually has bait everyday, you can usually phone and collect on the same day.

However, I was talking to a local digger today to get some bait for the weekend and he told me that there are very few rag in Belfast Lough so far this week.

Good luck.

Lads,

Am I right in thinking ye can get seabait rag up north? Why can't we do the same in the South? I wonder would those tackle shops post it down if someone asked them to?

I think the problem is getting a carrier to take live bait which needs to be temperature controlled.....

Other than that, I don't see why not - might be worth ringing them - go to http://www.yell.com and enter fishing tackle shops in N. Ireland for contact numbers.
