thanks for the comments mc and all taken on board pal. when i say faster i mean i want to finish the cast faster. i basically want to get that left hand tucked in at the end.

no worries lad and was looking at some of your videos and keep practising when you can, try the 175g lead, makes you slow down a bit and will let you know when your timing is off

Paddy spotted it in my cast Stevie and immediately I able to add ten plus meters

any of the UK boys I talked to at steyning last year made much emphasis on leading the cast with your left hand

which can be difficult since the natural inclination is to hit hard with all your power from the right and almost forget the left was there

when I put it into practice it made a massive different

maintaining it is hard though, I have to continuously tell myself otherwise I'm back with the lazy left arm syndrome,

It should be obvious though since it's what you have to do when performing an OTG
only reel men cast!

i think you are becoming more fluent with your cast , but its basically the same hit only you got better at it , a big lack of violence in the finish , a rod like that needs violence :evil:

Nice style, but I think you would get better distance with a Anyfield rod about the 14' one would do.
