any takers to meet up the 29th april... on silverstrand backbeach, go for flatties, bass and whatever else is there....

good spring tide due then around 19:15, fish 2 hours incoming tide and 3 - 4 out going...
should be a good flow of water as well...

yup thats the one, my fishin spot there is a couple of hundred yards seaward side of the flow...

good for flatties on incoming tide.. some lug at low tide..

have seen sea trout there as well as bass, mullet, conger, plaice, flounder, doggies and there's supposedly ray there (not sure about the last one)

dunno why they call it the back beach, cos that implies rusheen bay... and i've never caught anything in there, unless you count lug and crabs..

But yeah thats the one...

If I'm around you can count me in Steve...
Its called fishing, not catching. If it was called catching it wouldn't be fishing!

i'll get in contact with club secretary (GBSAC) and see if it can be made into outing, or just put texts out there let few other know... :D

even though i know a few will just fish main beach (too lazy to walk over cliff).. :?

 might actually give it a tester on the 16th(this sunday).. head out for low tide, dig lug, fish incoming and 2hrs after (high around 20:00)(the tide that is, not me)

pm me or txt me if interested on 16th :D :D

see shore angling reports for latest catch details..

have seen bass swiming, but not taking anything presented to them??

the tide will be low around 12:00 in the afternoon and hight around 18:30

which gives me plenty of time in the morning to dig lug(feel free to give me a hand, will get paid in lug)..

all that is left is the weather!!! (all predictions welcome)
