#1 Post by Pat Spillane »

I'm bringing the boss to Tralee for a few days nex week and the rods will also be packed, can anyone give any info on where to get bait, the best marks for this time of year and best tides and times.
Any info will be appreciated. A PM or E mail will be treated in confidence if you dont want to put up a post.

Yeh Landers have moved, entering tralee you come to the roundabout at manor west, go straight on and then turn in through some gates immediatley on your right, colm in there should give you up to date info, i'm not that up to date on whats fishing well at the moment, it was this time last year when bigcol caught a 10lb bass at inch, maybe worth a try, allthough theres a fair amount of weed about down there at the moment.

Definitely try inch
on the rising tide use lug if you can was out fishing was out fishing with a few lads today one of them caught 2 bass we all caught lots of flounder. over on the right near the rocks.

Bring him to stradbally strand or somewhere on the maharees and bring him to Spillane's pub afterwards get the sea food platter

if its fine you can watch the sun go down.

if your into that sort of thing with your boss :D

Landers is on the the right hand side of the first round about as you enter tralee on the kilarney/ Castleisland road.

You could push the boat out (Excuse the pun lol) and charter a boat.

Should be a few ray turning up at the SPA and Castlegregory too. LW spring for The SPA and HW spring for the car park at the Trench - might be worth a shot if there isn't surf up on the beaches. Don't know of much else happening at the moment...

Oh so tempting. Might go back in September. The Abbey on Friday/Saturday gives me a smile even when the fishing didn't.
