Couple of q's re line setup and Gola

#1 Post by tony07 »

Looking to get into some lure fishing around the co down coast. Got a spinning rod, just wondering the best line setup? Ive read braid and a leader? What weight and what knot to join these?

Also heading to gola off donegal in a few weeks, any advice for fishing here?

thanks in advance

If you are going to use braid then i would suggest 20/30 lb to 20lb leader with the albright knot in the link below,
and the braid is the 1 that you do all the turn's with around the leader,it has never failed me yet!!!!

Hope this helps
