Why do footballers get depressed when they loose a match?

Its a sport and the aim is to catch fish, if you don't catch you loose! But in saying that it's not ALWAYS about the fishing, its about the banter with some mates and being out doors away from the kids for a few hours...lol

For many fishing is about catching fish so I guess the clue is in the name. Saying you're going fishing Sunday is better than saying you are going sitting on the beach with your rod in your hand all day Sunday :D which is effectively what you do if you blank.
The Truth is often stumbled upon by men, most of whom pick themselves up and hurry along as if nothing ever happened.

personally, i dont treat fishing as a sport i treat it as a hobby or pasttime, the only time i get annoyed about not catching a fish is if the weather is miserable
a bit of wind is fine, a bit of rain is fine, but put the both together and throw in being cold and if i dont catch a fish you can guarantee ill be thinking "wtf am i doing here" after an hour. im sure a lot of people will be the same.
if its a nice day i could sit out all day, catching fish or not, and still enjoy it. like yer man says, its not always about the fishing.
