Candiru

Both the finger-sized candiru-açu and a toothpick-sized species normally burrow into larger fish, but have been known to enter human orifices. The whale candiru (episode 4 of Jungle Hooks) is a scavenger that feeds on dead fish.

what you fail to mention is that that the candiru (AKA needlefish) follow a trail of urea (to find their prey) which is a by-product of fish breathing through their gills ( a bit like us and Co2 ) and that we also produce Urea which gets expelled when we go for a leak...
which is all well and good unless you live in the amazon.. so what ever you do when you are swimming in the amazon river, do not get the urge to have a pee, because those little fe*$%s will swim into your(you know what) and live there happily for a few weeks.

apparently its the worst form of pain known to mankind ...
