Flounder in close on lug and maddies.
Other species are dogs, huss, and thornback ray best bait for these is sandeel and mackerel

I once was fishin the pier at night, strip of mack at bout 60 yards.. something took it, then proceeded to just steadily head off out to sea, no turning it, but it was a fish, you could feel that certain thud... Thought possibly a very large ray.......
