That’s fishing.

It’s a pity you did not put up a post in Q&A first.

The big tides make it near impossible to fish estuaries like Ring. You’d be lucky to get two hours there before you get washed away.
The other option there is to follow the tide up the estuary as the tide spreads out over the mud flats it starts to slacken a small bit in the channel.
If you’re bottom fishing the Courtmac and Ring estuaries they are bests fished with crab. When the water warms up a bit more the giltheads will start to show.
