Donaghadee 5th May

#1 Post by rdoggart »

People:Just Me

Duration:7am-11:30AM

Tide:Rising

Weather:clear but cold

Bait:lug

Rigs:Float

Results: 6 coleys and 1 pollock

Report: Hi,

Have not been out since this time last year due to wife not being well, but decided yesterday that I would dig some lug and hit the Dee. I know that it does not fish very well during the day and is better at night but decided to have a go anyway.

Arrived at 7am and fished between the piers for a hour with no activity at all. Decided to have a go over the back wall. Fished for another hour with not even a single knock. Then landed a good sized coley of 1.5lbs, followed by another then another, ended up with seven fish in a half hour period.

Then went quiet again and nothing else showed and I left at 11:30am.

Thanks

Ronnie
