hi all, i was thinking about setting some tyres this year for peelers , my question is, is it considered dumping and or illegal?

technically you are littering the beach, which in theory you could get fined for if there was any enforcement in this country

have to agree ,having said that there are several thousand tyres set all over ireland for the purpose of collecting peelers and i have never heard of anybody being fined ,so thread :lol: :lol: carefully and if they dont produce peelers dont be deflated :lol: :lol: :lol:

thanks for the replies lads! gunna put a few down some evening next week and hopefully ill have my own supply for the september peel! no dought the will need a while to settle! sick of scrambling round in the weed or buying frozen crap!, and raiding some1 else's tyres is a big no no in my book! i figure if some1 has put the time, effort and lets not forget the risk of a fine, they deserve to be left alone! hope yall agree!!!!!!! :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :roll:

When is the best time for collecting them?...

I been out looking and found some dead ones and small ones.

as far as i know there are two major peeling times which are april and september. correct me if im wrong??????? they do peel all tru the summer but those two months are the best in my opinion!
