Galway this weekend.

I was planning a trip to Galway this weekend to fish for ray with the forecast conditions would there be any point?
Wish list for 2015: sword tail, black Molly, horny cobbler

its seems when the ray are in they feed in all sorts of conditions - but in general the northerly kills most of it - especially if you going well west in connemara

My expiereince is its a complete waste of time when the wind is northerlyi particularly in that part of the world...........

take gf kellys advice he knows the lie of the land out there well

all im saying is ive fished killary many times and it has been pure rubbish with a northerly bar one time when 7 of us all got ray in the middle of a gale and the water was churning pure brown

it made no sense - one lad got an 11lb er

they were puking up crabs and it was mid january

i put that down to a once off
