I have the 2-4oz one and it's a great little rod ,perfect for shallow beaches and has great bite detection ,I would imagine the 1-3oz one would be good also

Bought one last year for bit heavier spinning/floating and it's quality. Fuji rings and reel seat and flicks spinners, leadheads, spoons etc nicely. Didn't manage to christen it with any monsters but great compromise between spin rod and say a bass rod. Highly recommended.
