tide times whats the best to go by

ok guys iv seen a few posts regarding wrong tide tables/charts and think iv fell victim to these myself so im wondering which is the most accurate as i booking a charity compo in fahan in july and need to know the high tide marks for the saturdays of that month....or if any1 can help me id be for ever grateful thanks

Alright mate i have a app on my fone called tideplan 12 it's a great app it's never wrong on the tide if u have a iPhone or fone that can download apps get it...:)..

i find http://www.sailing.ie the most accurate have a look at http://www.sailing.ie/Racing/Tides/TidesBelfast.aspx the tides for Derry City are -2.52hrs before the belfast times

cheers for replie mate....iv checked belfast tide chart can i take it that high tide in fahan on sat 28th july in afternoon tide is high water is 2 26 pm thank mate

Tideplan 12 on the iPhone is the mutts nuts, never known it to be wrong. Think its available on the Android app store now also..

high tide in belfast is at 19:32 and derry is -2.52,make it -3 hrs and its easier to work out,3 hrs before 19:32 would be 16:32 or 4:32pm add 8mins =16:40 or 4:40pm

thats the one I have aswell best app in the world never gives ya the wrong tide it's a bit tricky at first I thought. But when I figured it out I was flying it...
