I have to say you hear people talk about there're distances all the time but when you see it mapped out its an eye opener! I was delighted that visually I could walk out and look to the casting spot. I was casting much further then I thought. I was never able to gauge it before and realise I've a lot of work to do. Harry kindly picked up my peg before measuring but it was in or around the 100 mark. So the next time I hear someone on a beach blast one out and say 150 yards I'll be less trusting.

A huge thanks to andrew gormley, john(cracko)henry and denis brock for putting this together,a very enjoyable day with a great bit of banter and a great Cake. put that into production john, i will buy one or two
and thanks again to the lads for putting me over the 200 yard line, 204 to be exact
off the ground, not as easy as some lads make it look
I say bring back the old yard badges

congrats to clive on breaking the BIG one very well done mate
im just back from the shed after de oiling my ceramic bearings
and i can tell you my chrome rocket is running like never before
nothing like john's reel, but it's a start in the right direction.I will be back, next big step is the other 200
i might have to try a pendulum cast for that
