Report:
went on a species hunt for turbot and doggies, so hit my normal esturary mark.. with the north wind blowing i wasnt hoping for much but it realy did surprize me,,, from the start i was hitting flounder and turbot, nothing to big but fish all the same, it never let up for the four hours. happy days species found,,, just after dark the doggies came in big time even taken the lug bait i had out for flatties,, landing doggies tweo at a time... in the 4 or so hours i had plenty of turbot and flounder and about 20 doggies, the doggies where all big lads.....

not to detract from the report but.. could you please explain the reasoning behind this comment plse:

is the fishing meant to deteriorate when a north wind blows? why would it?? i dont get this
just interested in your opinion (not to open a can of worms..)

ha mate no problem... ive found over the years that the esturary i was fishing never seems to fish on a north or north east wind.. cant explain it but im sure there is a reason......had two mates down from dublin the week before fished the same place with a north east wind blowing and we blanked on a 8 hour session on it.......
