Beara Peninsula, Cork, 10/4/2012

#1 Post by Paul Harris »

People:me

Duration:1830 - 2030

Tide:HW 2030

Weather:dry fine

Bait:sandeel

Rigs:pulley

Results:
Had a dose of 'man flu' of late so needed to get a bit of fresh air without too much exertion so dropped on a mark requiring 2 minutes walking. One dog after 90 minutes had me doubting my choice but at dusk two bites resulting in spotted rays of 5-10 and 5-15. My first specimens of the year but sadly my other scales are away being registered so i cannot claim them but cheered me up any way. The 5-15 was a PB.
Just to report the scales arrived back from Dublin next morning!!!

Report:
Live out on the beautiful Beara Peninsula. Always willing to assist visiting anglers.

Sods law indeed Paul, still 5.15lb is a brute of a spotty ray, well done.
