Dublin Boat Marks (IMELDA) 1/4/2012

#1 Post by JOHN1 »

People:DARRAGH HARRY AND ME

Duration:1000 to 1900

Tide:ebb/flood

Weather:fantastic

Bait:rag lug razor macks launce herringbone squid

Rigs:all sorts

Results:Launce, whiting, dabs, lsd's, macks, cod, grey gurnard,thornback ray,Ballan wrasse,pollack,goldsinny wrasse. (11) species.

Report:Yet again we took advantage of the weather, with us this time for a change was my son Darragh after hearing of all the fish we had got over the last few days he was eager to get away from his guitar and come out of his angling retirement :mrgreen:which he did, still well able to catch a few fish to me and harrys surprise 8) we had a great days fishing and good bit of banter between us.things are after improving very quickly, we had well over 40 launce, 2 dozen just gone into deep freeze and that was after using the same amount for fresh bait, also in good numbers were the pollack/dabs over the last few days the numbers of fish and species are just getting better,we also had the first few macks and ray of the year thrown into the mix, all told id say we had at least 150 fish between us for the day 8)

Well done John! You would like to think that the fishing will only improve on your marks as the water temp increases.

Nice bit of fishing there John man,

When I seen the subject heading “DUBLIN BOAT MARKS” I thought you were looking for new marks to fish so knowing I couldn’t help you I didn’t look into your report till now

Thanks mann, I do the same as yourself at times, especially when it's about something on the far side of the country
