Report:
Went to a rock mark this evening to fish over the top of the tide. Picked my usual spot and chucked nearly everything in the bag for about and hour and a half, water was very clear would have preferred a little colour/cloudiness and a little bit more movement. Decided to move up the beach just after high water to fish into a gulley that I had spotted last week on slack tides. First cast and got hit hard, fish surfaced immediatelely, lots of headshaking and a couple of turns back out to sea but managed to turn it and landed a nice fish of 6.25 lbs and 62cm in length. Well happy decided to fish on for another while, missed a couple of others shortly after and saw a few cruise missiles in close patrolling in pairs, decided to cast across them but no interest, (obviously got other things on their minds than feeding
