Report:
well the three of us started off at 4pm yesterday at a mark in clifden, weather was so good but the fishing was not,, we fished till 11pm and not a bite,,, moved to second mark in lettergesh, started fishing from 12 midnight till 7.15 am,,, one flounder landed to myself...although all of us where getting bites but nothing hooked,,,, sod this as the sun came up off the hills we decided to hit little killary hopeing it would give us a few ray, doggies and conger, started fishing from 8am till 1.30pm and only one pollock to myself and one doggie to stefwest, while anto was laid back sunny him self... the fishing just did not happen,, havent a clue what was wrong,,,i know the marks well and would normally give up a few fish,,, anyway as little heads burnt in thr sun we put our tail between out legs and headed for home,,, tired,worn out,, and scraching our heads...... a few photos of the session.......

Thats some attempt at getting a few bites,im tired just thinking of the hours ye did.If the fish gods don't reward ye in the near future then the rest of us might as well give up.Lovely photos to boot as well now go and rest up :lol:

That's some session! Wonder has the high pressure made the fish a bit lethargic?
Its called fishing, not catching. If it was called catching it wouldn't be fishing!

Great photos, I suppose it is only march and the tides are slack at the moment.

Jesus that is rough but fairplay for perservering with the fishing,Karma :D you wont be able to beat the fish off the hooks soon :D

I have to admire your persistence - 32 hours !!!
After a six hour session I am tired.
Shame it wasn't more productive, probably a combination of slack tides and static high pressure as Bradan mentioned.

unlucky lads fishing seems to be slow over your way the last couple of weeks this time last year there was ray starting to show in killary i was planning a trip across in a couple of weeks but might hold off for a while yet until the ray come in
