waterfoot beach 24/3/12

People:me

Duration:5hrs

Tide:flooding

Weather:very nice

Bait:lug mack herring stickies

Rigs:3 hook flappers

Results: flounder rockling




Report:havent been out for a while in fact this was my 3rd outing in 3 months and boy did it feel like it got to the beach first cast out reel in 15 mins later blank next cast the same and im now starting to think this is why i havent been out any way soon got a small flounder then got a double shot followed by another double shot i even went an surprised my self with a full house 2 flounder and a rockling things went quiet so thought last cast out went the flapper 15mins later in came a small flounder and a crab so that was last cast any way nice to get out and blow the cobwebs off myself
will now get out more often

good to get out eddie. sure the weather was great! 8) and a few fish to boot. not too bad
any size in those flounder?
what are stickies?

hi chuckaroo the biggest of the flats would have been 20cm and stickies are frozen black lug

good to see you feeling better and getting back out eddie :P
sadly tiddler bashing is kinda all thats available to us on the ne coast at the mo. but sure it beats motionless rod tips :P
