pete wrote:Thoroughly enjoyable read Al and plenty of fish porn pics too :) , fair play for sticking out with the big baits can be a lonely stance when lots of small fish coming in left right and centre.
thanks pete. it's hard to stick with it when you know there are smaller fish out there nibbling away at your big baits and you can see your mates reeling them in hand over fist. but on sunday it paid off with a nice plaice and coalie :D :D
as for the pics, i always like to get as many decent shots as possible for the report. i know we can all be a bit snobbish about it when it comes to smaller fish, but if that's all that's out there in front of you, it's all your gonna catch. and i reckon it's good for beginners to see what smaller examples of the species they are likely to catch look like too
i ai'nt too proud to admitt to a bit of tiddler bashing if that's all that's available

i woud say that that wee session there well made up for the poor session at wpb - albeit that you got a few very decent species there to add to the years count! "turbot".. "brill" .... drool.. haha
hope the thumb heels soon
cheers charlie, the next time we hit that spot jordan wants to bring his fly rod to christen it with a few flats or coalies. i'll have to bring the video camera for that one and get a vid up to go with the report  :P
   doubt it would be a bother for Jordan to get a few flats on the fly, would strongly recommend he gives it a go - or any other species for that matter! great sport
will look forward to seeing that video!... :D
