#1 Post by the bassinator »

People:me eyesreilly

Duration:3 hours

Tide:up to high water

Weather:mild

Bait:mac and lug

Rigs:2 hook flappers

Results:pouting whiting pollock flounder coallies

Report:
Arrived at the harbour greystones to test out the new rods but found it to crowed with people looking for spots to fish.SO got set up next to eyesreilly who kindly moved over and gave me some space to fish so we fish into the mouth of the harbour we were just droppping of the pier the fish were right under our feet it was nearly a fish ever cast at on stage and plenty of doubles. Some nice size coallies. So we fished until around 10.30 pm.Great night to start of my season and great to meet one of the lads from the site. Just Shame to see the clowns kicking crabs around the pier and taking ever thing that came out sea and putting it in bag while they are still alive

Bassinator and Eyes, wonder if it was the same lads i saw two weeks back :?: at this rate there will be nothing left to fish for off the Harbour wall  Seen it happen at another mark i fish, it was stripped bare even small ballan wrasse were kept!?? and when I approached the subect of marine conservation I was informed by these Yahos "Sea provides, we eat, you no matter, fishin when bad we move!" then in some eastern european tongue was nearly sure I heard F*&^ you! Nice, really nice!!
