You must have been terribly disappointed not to have made it to an even twenty, ah well, one of these days.
I am convinced too that the rapidly dropping barometric pressure after a prolonged period of high pressure was responsible for this feeding frenzy, I have often experienced the same pattern of behaviour.
It is widely believed the falling pressure makes fish, which own a swim bladder, feed more aggressively on a falling pressure. When barometric pressure is rising, fish generally become more active, but when pressure is high, fish tend to slow down, seek cover or head to deeper waters.
Excellent report and congratulations Frank, you are on the best way to exceed your personal record this year again.
