what are these ships fishing for

hey lads

i was wondering i noticed about 8 fishing ships offf the coast of ireland and i was wondering hat kind of fish hese would be targeting

speices 2011 whiting ,flounder, cod , coalie,,shore rockling , LsD,pollock,mack ,dab turbot sea trout ,bull huss ,3 rockling , wrasse

egg and my face were in alignment

My guess is mackeral. Fishing Icelandic/Faroes "quotas".

I would say Mackerel alright! very unusual to get an ais contact out there. there has to be a boat in that area that has a sat link up and conected to its ais reciver

Maybe blue whiting.
Sea Species(25) bass, codling, whiting, turbot, seatrout, stingray, pollock, coalfish, longspine scorpion, ballan wrasse, dogfish, ling, pouting, poor cod, dab, mackerel, smelt, sandeel, launce, bull huss, painted ray, thick lip mullet, golden grey mullet, rock goby.
Fresh Water (2) brown trout, sea trout
