headed to youghal chasing some flounder first venue just before low water alive with crabs so moved to pier til tide started 3 coalie in qick succesion best 39cm.then moved to esturary fished two rods one with three hook flapper other with long up and over cast two rods out into channel tide was pushing hard and wind was increasing making seeing bites hard, until one line fell a bit slack picked up waited felt a knock and reeled in first double two fine flounder 39cm happy days rebaited cast out just taking photo when other rod hopped picked up felt fish reeled in another double 41cm 42cm big smiles photo of all four and all swam away happily by now tide pushing well hard so had to retreat up beach after half hour another good bite reeled in best of day 43cm that was it the crabs decided to come out to plaqy again but happy out eight fish and five good flats makes it worth going out
