hit the beach just after low water good surf running and looked reasonably clean two rods out with mixture of baits, first few casts proved fruitless hard to see any bites with lines been blown down the beach about an hour in got the unmistakable hit of a bass struck fish on in comes a nice 43cm bass blank saved.Stayed another hour but no more bites, moved to a neighbouring beach cast one rod with lug / rag the other with crab/ rag few minutes after second rod fell very slack reeled in to feel the bang of a fish struck fish on good fight ensued 50cm bass happy days. Was quiet for a while then another great thump another nice fight bass of near a twin as last just over 49cm stayed another hour but no more bites tide was really strong at this stage causing fair surge good to get out and a few fish a bonus thought i would have picked a flat but none showed
