Report:
fished lettergesh last night, i never fished it in the dark so i wanted to give it ago... anyway it was very quite... nothing landed but on the other hand i thought i would share this ,,,, about 2an half hours into the session the rod got a sudden bite nothing like i have seen before 2 to3 sharp pull overs and then the rod just took off iwas fishing right in front of the car park and had casted out to the left,,, got the rod in hand and could feel a fish on but it wasnt a flattie or ray or doggie it took me right down the the right of the beach it just kept pulling and pulling i knew it was a fish the rod tip was hopping anyway after about 10 min i got to make a bit of ground onit,, but then the sound all anglers hate, snap, the line broke,,, anyway just woundered if anyone else that fishes there came accross this before............

Never heard of huss on that beach before, did hear of a (6 inch!) tope alright, but never any big ones.

Seal maybe? What bait were you fishing, and what breaking strain snoods?
Its called fishing, not catching. If it was called catching it wouldn't be fishing!
