I've had a look at the fish this morning and I think it might be a tub. However, I don't want to burst anyone's bubble (particularly me own sister) on a possible record so I'm not going to call it. We're going to call in some expertise....JimC will have a look at it today.

Fair play to your little sis Pat,

That’s a monster,

John 1,

I wish I could say I enjoyed the read on the link you gave but I cant…. I have to go take a shower now cause it gave me the itch,

I did read that this worm cant live in fresh water but around 15 years back I was cleaning out a brown trout that I caught on the Shannon river,
It had been dead a few hours but when I cut it open  it was alive with white worms in its intestines…. Everything was moving about inside,

Scary dude

yes john had the same expirience with the worms. after gutting them found both sides of the gut under the skin riddled with ring worm it put me off at first .so i rang a mate who worked in kish fish and he told me just to cut them out .he also laughed when i said i wasn throwing them out .he said if i thought they were bad check out the cod we eat as they are full of thread worm you only find them when you really examine them closely. some times your better off not knowing
