Well done to mike curtin, galway bay sac on winning the first leg and mark hughes, newport sac on winning the juniors

Great fishing the other night, lovely mild conditions and fish feeding well. Had 6 thornies and 3 dogs myself, dropped a big ray in the surf that would have made the difference, but well done Mike, well deserved win. That was a cracking rockling too, specimen size for sure. Pete had a great thornie too, think it was 75cm.
Good start to the league, its always good to get a few fish on the first day back :)
Its called fishing, not catching. If it was called catching it wouldn't be fishing!

Thanks guys .
But have to say , we had better watch ourselfs with these young guys comming through . these are the same young fellas who went to kerry 2 weeks ago for the Inter-Pros , had a great start and then sadly it went haywire for them , but there they were last week , back at it again with great gusto . GREAT GOING LADS , WELL DONE .
