Nothing we didn't already know there. Quite frankly I think it's a bit rich of the Scottich fisheries secretary to accuse anyone of plundering fish stocks for short term gain or greed when, lets be honest, most if not all commercial activity in all countries is guilty to the same extent. The recent case in Scotland only serves to highlight this, were the weighing scales had been tampered with to show a lighter weight of fish than there actually was. As anglers we can see the damage that has been done by commercial activity every time we hit the shoreline.

Last year I had to throw out 2 frozen Mackerel I had caught because they were there too long in the freezer, I felt so guilty about that! I don't understand how so much can be caught and a large fraction we all know will be dumped.

Personaly all I fish with is one rod and a wedge! Feathering 5 a time ain't no sport at all for me. Anything that dies and can be eaten deserves respect!
