St Finians Bay

#1 Post by mickeyjoemurphy1 »

Anyone fished st finians bay recently?i fished it today from 7.30am to 2pm. High tide was 11.15am. Bait was fresh lug and frozen razor. only managed 2 small flounder. on one rod i had a 3 hook flapper and the other rod a pulley pennel rig. the surf was not great.
i was mainly after Bass but had no luck. Anyone caught one here before?

lovely spot but one heck of an undertow from the currents. Always make a point of fishing it when I'm down that way but always found night tides at low water more productive.
i get by with a little help from my friends.
