Report:
just a quik report,,had a few casts of the cliffs on killcumin head,set up at 4pm was hopeing to get a codling or two,,,one would do !! i put a cliped down pennel bomber rig on with mackeral lug and squid and out at a good distance,the rod was twitching straight away,,no grab from a cod but wrasse,,pulled a a good few ballan in biggest round the 3 pound mark,,darkness was closeing in and wasnt hanging around that mark in the dark,,no cod but i,ll try again,,the last wind up i had a smaller type a wrasse lovely marked,not to sure but i think its a female cuckoo ???i,ll put a few pics up,,hope to get a cod next time,

You can add Cuckoo Wrasse to you 2012 species :wink: . That first pic is a female Cuckoo. :)

Good stuff, February wrasse. What depth of water were you fishing into?
Sea Species(25) bass, codling, whiting, turbot, seatrout, stingray, pollock, coalfish, longspine scorpion, ballan wrasse, dogfish, ling, pouting, poor cod, dab, mackerel, smelt, sandeel, launce, bull huss, painted ray, thick lip mullet, golden grey mullet, rock goby.

cheers for the reply,s lads,,,it was of the cliff in the background of the second pic that i got the cuckoo,,so it was pritty deep water,,,the seasons are gone a bit crazy alright i seen daffodils in boom 2 weeks ago,,unrealllll,,,,,,,,,cheers again
