Report: with reports of seatrout being caught up and down the east coast we decided to try a local mark that can produce,short trip down the road and we had baits in the water for 8 o clock.first cast and the jammie ones rod starts to nod and in comes a small flounder so im thinkin we might actually have a good night.things were quiet for about an hour then jammie had another flounder but this one was tiny he followed that with a small 3 beard rockling ,still no bites for me
,2 more flounder about the size of a saucer for jammie and the score was 5 nil.the auld toes started to freeze form standing in the water so we gave it 1 last cast and said we'd pack up at eleven , jammie finished off with a double shot of rockling and i finished the way i started ...blankety blank.so much for thinkin it was goin to be a goodnight.
the best way to get a seatrout is to try for something else last time i witnessed one landed it was on a turbot bait in wexf and funny enough on a kamasan match hook maybe its the hooks they like and not the bait
