having the same problem with a few of my own- won't moult. going to try submerging them in water and leaving them in the sunny side of the garden. a heater from a pet shop for aquariums could be useful- u could set it to the temperature at which the crabs are most likely to moult. have a think about a venue for the casting lads, eveyone say where they think is best and we can all decide on somewhere (i hope!).

casting and crabing
A pet shop owner here, give me a wee tip "also cost a few pound" put crabs in tank of water "he makes his own sea water" and pump in fine air bubbles via a pump and wooden air stone, add one tea spoonfull of [this] to five gallon of water. No idea what [this] is. and wait for crabs to moult in about a week.
We will see.
Had a very bad idea when I was watching the NW2004 on the box, when we get to casting / days fishing, we could also invite HIMSELF our web master, who may want to take pics for our new mag.
Come on now, we all know we have mugs only for radio
Dave
there ain't much hope 4me

Dave,
http://www.hyperdictionary.com/search.a ... ne=analyze
Stay off the drugs! Remember - you can "Just Say No"!!
I saw a couple of casting clips on the net, but they didn't help me much! Thought that if I filmed myself, I might see where I was going wrong.

casting
not any more, imasa. used to have a casting club but that fell by the wayside along with imasa in the late 90s. there was a lack of intrest and a lot of hard work running casting heats. most of the lads who were involved turned there skills to match angling or just retired. however they give casting lessons now and again.

I got his number from Neilus and I went down to steve on Sunday and found he set me on the right track. He gave me the basics of the OTG and got me casting with the reel down low. He's also full fishing stories and very reasonable. I need alot of practice but once I master the OTG I'll be back down to start on the pendulum.
