Anyone going? I don't usually do angling shows, but this time I've got a weekend pass for the Saturday night/Sunday day.

wouldent be a bad idea for the organizers to throw a few free admission passes to site members. as they get great free publicity on this site every year.so come on guys lets be having some :lol:

MEET THE DUBLIN ANGLING INITIATIVE TEAM AND LEARN HOW TO FISH

At: NATIONAL SHOW CENTRE, SWORDS, CO. DUBLIN
When: SATURDAY 11TH AND SUNDAY 12TH FEBRUARY 2012
Time: 10-6 (Sat), 10-5 (Sun)

LEARN HOW TO : make traces, tie fishing knots, present bait effectively , tie an artificial fly beach and fly cast. Live fish on display and wildlife enthusiasts are in for a treat!
LOTS TO DO FOR ALL THE FAMILY
Prices: Children under 5 FREE Child (5-15 years) €5, Adult (16+) €10, Family (2 Adults & 2 Children) €25.

all I speak to say that the Swords Show is more coarse than sea, never been myself just repeating what I have heard.
Live out on the beautiful Beara Peninsula. Always willing to assist visiting anglers.

Ah, that's made me realise that the post where I said I've got a weekend pass for the Saturday night/Sunday day is a bit ambiguous..... I meant a weekend pass from the War Office. I'll be paying my own way into the show and the overnighter in Bewleys!
