went out to see if there was any cod on the beach. first cast rods were bouncing dogs were brought in by the both of us. next cast i caught a nice flounder 36cm paul had a double shot of coalis one 26cm and the other 42cm. very next cast i got a savage bite had a bit of trouble to bring it in through the surf but a couple mins later i had a ray at my feet wingspan of 58cm brought the scales down to 9.47lb looked over at paul to see him fighting a good fish through the surf he beached a nice bass of 56 cm weighing in just under 5lb i could be a bit off with those numbers as i was more interested in my own fish no doubt he will correct me on it we both had coalis and dogs on every cast after that packed up and headed away before the chippie was closed

cheers creep ya the rain has stopped thank god but the frost is on the way now
the cod are only takeing a break while the east wind blows once the wind changes again they will be back into the harbour bigger and better
