Myself at first - A friend followed me down:
2Hrs:
2 hrs before high:
Rainy & Cold:
Kilty Lures:
1 x 3 lb Sea Trout:
Had 2 hrs to spare so decided to pop down to a mark I fish the odd time. It was raining heavily so I was not expecting to stay out for long. Second cast and it felt like I was snagged for a copule of seconds then a release followed by a bang. There was something on and it felt decent. I brought it in and it turned out to be a decent enough sea trout at 3 lb. I must say I was delighted with that. It was the best fish I had caught in a good while.
About 3 mins later and another fish on only this time the fish gods were on his side and he jumped off the hook about 2 feet out. Pity too as this was a bigger fish. Anyway, gotta be happy with what I had

WoW! 16lb Sea Trout must fight like a croc. Id say your 5.5lb trout was a great scrap too! Thanks for taking the time to respond..
