SCI results 29/1/12

#1 Post by paddyc »

What a crap day, very little wind and rain, rain and more rain!!
needless to say there was more chatting than casting as conditions were just so horrible,,a few of us did brave a few chucks for all the good it did,,, but still great to see everyone again and have the crack...
A big thank you to Clive Grace who made the long drive up for his debut on our court and i have to say he did very well considering the conditions, a PB of 143.24m or 156.64yds. Well done Clive,, all those lessons are paying off..

Distance in Meters:
PaddyC-211.30/125g
Austin Artt-196.00/150g
Lee "Danger" Gallagher-182.50/125g
Clive Grace-143.24/175g

8 casters in attendance/4 DNC.
I think Lee may have gotten a vid or two...

Lets hope our next one will see better conditions...
Cast-Monkey :-)

cheers lads

to be honest, just happy to get back on the hill, had'nt cast in six months

and also wanted to try out the FT

don't think andrew marty and john even cast it was that bad though

can't legislate for the weather unfortunately

only got a couple of vid clips, not enough to make a story, the camera lens got drenched each shot too..

but clive got a pb however so good for him, could'nt imagine too many people getting pbs in that!
