Duration:3hrs

Tide:hw 04.30

Weather:

Bait:crab

Rigs:pulleys

Results:4 cod 2 dogs and a whiteing




Report:
tried my luck on the beach sat night. nothing on the first few casts then 2 hours before high water rod started to show signs of life. reeled in and had a little whiteing about 25cms put him back and wasnt waiting long before the rod was indicating signs of a nice fish trying to make off with my bait. i reeled into it and could feel life at the other end thought i was into a cracker rod was doubled with the weight of it but when i got it to my feet it wasnt a huge fish only a 45cm cod that had one hook of the pennel in his mouth and the other one stuck into the fish down by its tail so it came in sideways :? after that it was fish every cast. couple more cod one under 40 that went back and then i packed up when the dogs came on the feed

Fair play John good meeting you on one of the trip down with all the lads when we picked up the crab from up and maybe we hook up again.
