People:myself and one other

Duration:i hour

Tide:flooding

Weather:lovely dry strong easterly

Bait:lug maddies crab

Rigs:three hook loop

Results:2 coalies 1 flounder 1 rockling 1 codling 1 bass




Report:
dug a bit of bait today before match decided to have a few casts after match before coming into work.got to beach lovely surf rolling in and no weed in sight, another angler arrived just as i set up.first cast out within mins tip rattling not sure if fish or not due to cross wind left out and walked over to john who had just cast within a few mins he brought in a nice coalie back to my rod reeled in bit of slack and felt tap tap of fish struck fish on a coalie 41 and a 39 flounder nice start :lol: cast again and literally straight away bite of a fish left couple mins then in came another decent coalie 38 :D cast again and said that be last as i had to go to work john joined me at this stage after a while few taps then rod lunged over good fight insued nice treble my first bass of 2012 and a nice one 61cm :mrgreen: a codling 32 and a 23 rockling unfortunately that was it had to leave but i will be back there in twelve hours see what top of tide in daylight brings.great session for short time this beach can throw up great fishing on right conditions

that great fishing for a 1 hour session i would have called into work sick if the fishing was that good

Some session for a hour nice going and plenty of fish
Species 2012: Flounder, Whiting, Dublin Bay Codling, Coalie, 3 Beard Rockling, Shore Rockling, Bass, Dogfish, 5.2lb Starry Smoothhound (PB), Twaite Shad, Thornback Ray 5.8lbs (PB), LSD, Pollock, Ballan Wrasse, Cork Wing Wrasse, 43cm Flounder (PB)

Species 2013: Coalie, East Coast Codling, Smoothounds, And hopefully a back opp to get back fishing soon...
