Duration:9 till 11.30

Tide:hw 12 ish

Weather:nice very mild

Bait:fresh peeler and lug

Rigs:big mothers

Results:an eight legged freek!




Report:one good pull and a slack liner in close? coalie maybe? with the biats i was putting out nothing small was gonna connect with my hooks :lol: baits getting hammered by small stuff got snagged out med range pulled out of it and got snagged 3 more times on the way in realized why when this lad popped out of the surf :lol:

trojan it was 35 cm and a bugger to get off my measure!and yes months is too long! ,and alan i have a rule ,never eat anthing more intelligent than me !! he was way too cute to eat and well behaved when i unhooked him, also they are usless as bait!plus i got the feelgood factor seeing him sqirt off into the depths with my inexpensive cree headlight! :mrgreen:

Don't agree with you on this they are not useless as bait 3/4 inches of a tentacle deskinned make a great wriggling attracting lure as a bait as good if not better than soft plastics
I have not fished in two years hoping to change that this year with anything ?

Nice 1 roger not a catch you would of been expecting..... you should of cooked it up very nice... had one a couple of years back in turkey....
