Decided to take advantage of the fine weather that was forecast(it was wrong) and get the first trip of the year behind us, hitched up at 8am and was fishing for 830 on a flooding tide, hopes were high as i have been getting a few fish from recent shore sessions.
Things were slow to start, with whiting more whiting and a few more small pin whiting making up most of the catch we made a good few moves for more of the same and a few small codling thrown into the mix the best i had was around the 2lb mark

not much else to report other than having a couple of close encounters with the bottle nose dolphins that are in the bay great to see them around

nice to be out on the water again
