In the off chance anyone else is interested in this rod im after buying it and paired it with a shimano exage 4000 and i love it ! The rod comes with a travel case, handy for keeping it safe and has a strap so you can throw it over your back when going around rock marks. Well able to throw out small lures aswel but have only got a few small whiting and caolfish so some pollock bashing in the summer will be its real test  For anyone looking for a nice lure set up i got the rod and reel for 130 so its fairly affordable aswel 8)
