report: First off happy new year to u all
Just a quick report , deceided to head south to try for some cod ,hit the road at 2pm and was fishing for about 4.30pm ,wasn't sure what the weed was going to be like so i just tuck a chance, surprisingly it was fishable but the wind was bad
some fun trying to set up the shelter 
I had two rods but only used 1 due to the ruff sea and wind "lazy i know" so bait in the water i played the waiting game, very little happened for the first 2 hour and it was very hard to read the rod tip with the wind so i held the rod for a while and then bang a nice bite struck it to it and had him a nice cod 4 1/2 lb a pb
and it made it better that it was the first day of the year.at this stage the weed was coming on and the wind and sea was getting bad so i stuck it out for another 2 hours hoping for more action hooked into what felt like a bigger fish got him in half way and snap ah well
so packed up about 9 and hit the road home , all and all not a bad session bar the drive

i can only guess you left it on all the way home with all of the excitement 
lol no I was out the back cleaning my gear , but often have been half way home with the thing still on the head and turned on
