sonik sks 13ft

At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!

the rod is what you make of it yourself and what you intend to use it for(eg rock, beach etc).i had one myself and the top eye broke off it walking from mark one nite.it was a horrible wind and wet nite and when walking back to the van the rod eye(inside the rod bag) somehow went throught a mesh of them wire fences and all i heard was snap.couldnt believe it.if you ring sonik they will send you a top or bottom section for 35 sterling.what i did like about them was their ability to cast.their quiet light and a good swing with their 13ft height lenght should let you get some distance.they are stiff enough too.they have a sliding reel seat aslo which gives you the choice between multi or fixedspool.i have the sk4 now and find no difference between that and the sk3.however i believe that the new sonik ranges are totally better than there sks.sonik continental and the ncts.got excellent reviews from barney wright off tsf.what i just said doesnt mean that you will find them the same way as i did.when you get it just find the rods ability that suits you best.they have good points as i just stated.enjoy your rod and enjoy getting baits out at distance

they have some of the characteristics of a carrot so dont be surprised if it snaps midcast or when pulling through heavy weed.
i thought people should ask the questions about a product before purchasing not after
